The Erasmus+ program
Erasmus+ provides financial support to a wide range of actions and activities in the fields of learning, training, youth and sport for the 2021-2027 period. The program aims to give students, interns, and, more generally, young people under 30 with or without a degree, the opportunity to spend time abroad to strengthen their skills and increase their employability.
In particular, Erasmus+ comprises an important international aspect in the field of higher learning, enabling the program to be open to activities involving institutional cooperation and youth mobility at the world level.
Erasmus+ and higher education
The Erasmus+ program for higher education contributes to the creation of a European space for higher education by pursuing several objectives:
- The improvement of the quality and the reinforcement of the European aspect of higher education
- Increased mobility of students, teachers and university staff
- The reinforcement of multilateral cooperation
- The transparency and recognition of the acquired qualifications
- The internationalization of European higher-learning establishments
The program promotes mobility in Europe and abroad for students (periods of study or internships), teaching staff, and all the personnel of higher-learning establishments.
AMOS & Erasmus+
